Welcome to the Suffolk Guild of Ringers website.
We hope you will find something useful on our website whether you are interested in learning to ring, have just started to learn or are already a member with years of ringing experience. There’s also a section all about what goes on behind the scenes to keep the Guild running!
Our four districts run a monthly programme of events aimed at all levels of ability, details of which can be found on What’s On, and we always welcome visitors whether you are on a business trip or on holiday in our beautiful county!.
The Guild was established in 1923 following the formation of the new Diocese of St. Edmundsbury and Ipswich in 1914 and currently has nearly 780 members from over 250 towers including the UK’s heaviest ring of five at East Bergholt and the oldest complete ring of 8 at Horham.
If you would like to know more about the Suffolk Guild or bell ringing in general, please do not hesitate to contact one of the officers.
